Am kommenden Sonntag überträgt der MDR live auf seinem Kulturprogramm Figaro und dem Jugendsender Sputnik ab 20.00 Uhr das musikalische Crossoverprojekt Soul meets Classic.

Das Sinfonieorchster des MDR unter der Leitung von Jun Märkl wird zusammen mit Künstlern wie Joy Denalane, Bilal, Tweet und Dwele sowie dem Kinderchor des MDR alte Soulklassiker neu interpretieren.

Eigens von Larry Gold geschrieben, können sich alle, die es nicht schaffen nach Dresden zu fahren, an den Radioempfängern der 70 - minütigen Entdeckungsreise durch die Welt des Souls live zuhören.
